On June 13-14, 2024, the Academic Annual Conference and Hydroelectric Development Conference of the China Hydroelectric Engineering Society were held in Changsha, Hunan. During this period, the 5th Hydroelectric Talent Award ceremony was also held. Professor Yu Xiaodong from our institute was awarded the 5th Hydroelectric Talent Award in 2023.
