On December 1, 2024, the freshmen class of 2024 in our college and the College of Water Conservancy Science and Engineering of Yangzhou University launched the theme activity of joint construction of water conservancy freshmen. Lou Jian, secretary of the Party Committee of our college, and Dai Yuanyuan, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, attended the event and delivered speeches. Su Kunpeng, a young teacher from the School of Water Conservancy Science and Engineering of Yangzhou University, the head teacher of Class 2403 of Hydraulic Engineering, the secretary of the Youth League Committee and the 2024-level counselor of our college, Shui Buyuan, class 3 of 2024-level water conservancy and hydropower engineering, class 1 of smart water conservancy and class 1 of safety engineering, and the backbone representatives of grade students attended the event. The two sides carried out a series of activities in the form of discussion, experience sharing and field visits, focusing on the co-construction of party groups, theme group days and professional practice.
