On the morning of November 19, 2025, the college successfully held an academic symposium in the 301 conference room of the Water and Electricity Building. At the invitation of Professor Wang Yuan, Professor Adam Bezuijen from Ghent University in Belgium visited our university and delivered an academic report titled Interaction Mechanism Between Shield Tunneling Face and Sandy Ground Layers. This report aims to deepen the understanding of shield tunneling mechanisms in complex sandy ground layers, reveal the interaction mechanism among soil-shield-groundwater-foam, and provide scientific evidence and technical support for refined control of shield tunneling faces and construction safety risk prevention.
